Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to review your benefit choices and select your benefits for the year.
Medical and Prescription Drug
You have a choice of six National Medical Program options provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL).
Two of your options, the HSA Select and Copay Select options, are high-performance network options, which means providers consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care. They are offered in areas where there is a substantial number of providers in a special network called the Blue High Performance Network.
These options have a lower price tag than the Advantage options and a richer plan design, but they offer no out-of-network coverage other than for emergencies. Please review the provider listing carefully. If these options are available to you, you will see them listed when you log in to the enrollment website.
Your dental options from Cigna include:
- Dental PPO
- Dental PPO Plus
- Dental HMO
- No Coverage
Your vision options from EyeMed include:
- EyeMed Enhanced
- No Coverage
Your benefit elections — including any default coverage if you don’t take action — will be in effect until the end of the Plan year (December 31). You cannot make changes during the year unless you experience a qualifying status change (e.g., marriage, divorce, birth of a child).
Health Savings Account (HSA)
If you elect the HSA Value or HSA Advantage medical option, you are eligible for an HSA. It’s a smart way to save and pay for your health care. IMPORTANT: You may change your contribution amount at any time, and money in your HSA is always yours.
Health Care FSA
The Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) lets you set aside before-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses. You may contribute from $200 to $2,750.
- If you elect the HSA Value, HSA Select or HSA Advantage medical option, you may only contribute to the Limited-use Health Care FSA.
- You must enroll each year during your enrollment period or during Annual Enrollment to begin or continue participating in the FSA program.
Dependent Care FSA
The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) lets you set aside before-tax dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses such as day care for your child, elderly parent or disabled spouse. You may contribute from $200 to $5,000, depending on your federal income tax filing status.
Use It or Lose It
You lose any unused dollars in an FSA at year-end.
Supplemental Health Care Coverage
You can enhance your health care coverage with coverage through MetLife. These supplemental health care policies provide cash benefits due to illness or injury:
- Accident Insurance
- Critical Illness Insurance
- Hospitalization Insurance
Life and Accident Insurance
RRD automatically provides company-paid basic life insurance in an amount equal to one times your annual base pay, up to a maximum benefit of $125,000. You may purchase additional life and accident insurance offered through MetLife, including:
- Optional Employee Life Insurance
- Optional Spouse/Domestic Partner Life Insurance
- Optional Child Life Insurance
- Optional Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance (for yourself and your family)
