Overview
You have three dental options from Cigna:
- Dental PPO
- Dental PPO Plus
- Dental HMO
With the Dental PPO and PPO Plus options, you can choose any dentist (in-network or out-of-network), but you receive a higher level of coverage (which means you pay less out of your pocket) if you use in-network dentists. With the Dental HMO option, you must choose an in-network dentist.
Find a Network Dentist
Register and log in online.
- Cigna Dental PPO network: Select DPPO/EPO > Total Cigna DPPO.
- Cigna Dental HMO network: Select CIGNA DENTAL CARE DHMO > Cigna Dental Care Access Plus.

If you have certain medical conditions (heart disease, stroke, diabetes, maternity, chronic kidney disease, organ transplants, or head and neck cancer radiation), you can get reimbursed for out-of-pocket costs for specific dental services used to treat gum disease and tooth decay when you enroll in the Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program. You also get discounts on prescribed mouthwashes, fluoride gels and toothpastes from your dentist through Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy.

Your RRD dental option from Cigna pays 100% of your preventive care, including cleanings and routine x-rays. Make sure you’re taking full advantage of this important benefit — and taking care of your overall health — by visiting your dentist twice a year.
