March 24, 2026

Overview

A leave of absence may be granted to employees who need to be absent from work. Approval is based on an individual’s needs and RRD’s policies and practices. All leaves are administered in a fair and equitable manner.

Various leaves available to you include:

  • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Jury Service
  • Military Leave
  • Personal Leave
  • Bereavement
  • Parental Leave

Parental Leave

RRD offers paid parental leave to help you bond with your new child, whether biological or adopted. If eligible, you may take up to six consecutive weeks of paid leave immediately following short-term disability. For the non-birthing parent, the leave must be taken within six months following the child's birth. For adoption, the leave can be used either before or after the adoption within six months of the adoption effective date.

Get ready for your parental leave with the PERKY Leave digital planning tool. It can help you estimate how much time you can take off work and estimate changes to your income while you’re on leave.
